Maaya’s liner notes: A song with a happy air inside an album that for some reason this time grew to have many sad farewell songs. This time, it was very hard deciding on the track order but I was able to decide immediately that with “Eternal Return” beginning, this song would close.

Maaya’s liner notes: I’ve often gone together with Kitagawa-san of Round Table, but as our first ballad it’s a little fresh. I think this song with its sleek texture became a good spice in the album.

Maaya’s liner notes: Takaki Horigome-san and Keiichi Tomita-san. To have those longed-for two grant my wish by tagging up on my work–no way!
It sounds like a lullaby, but the truth is it’s a message pointed at all those in generations younger than mine.

Maaya’s liner notes: With the “man among men!” image Magokoro Brothers had, this song was the most surprising. Girly beyond imagination, but with rock, of course, at the root it has big-boned elements too. With even the lyrics having a taste I wouldn’t bring out, it was fresh.

Maaya’s liner notes: Wanting to make a song by girls for girls, I requested it of Shouko Suzuki-san without hesitation. A really fun song with its playfulness. We must advance forwards! –that’s the feeling it’ll inspire, perhaps.

Maaya’s liner notes: This is, at any rate, the last chorus work. Like an unexpected development is waiting at the end. Caoli Cano-san really trusts my voice. I really like the feel of beautiful things and intense things getting jumbled up together.

Maaya’s liner notes: Of my own accord, I’d thought that Sukima Switch-san suited my aura. With Masato Ishinari-san–who plays guitar on both my tours and Sukima-san’s tours–arranging a romantic, slightly enigmatic world, we were able to complete it smoothly.

Maaya’s liner notes: I’d thought that Suneohair-san’s songs must have a world view that works exactly because of that voice and those songs, so an image translated to my voice couldn’t do it. But it fit me beyond imagination and was easy to sing!
It was a really fun collaboration, resembling Suneo-san and resembling me.

Maaya’s liner notes: A song made for the Expo Shanghai envoy to China announced as limited distribution. As I’ve put out this sort of oriental, majestic song one time in however many years since my
first debut, I thought it would be significant to tackle it once more.

Maaya’s liner notes: When we announced I’d sing a Jun Shibata-san song, there was a huge reaction
beyond imagination from the fans. As a song that has things that I lacked a little until now like the depth of an adult woman’s feelings, it became a song with a new feel for me.

Maaya’s liner notes: Listening to the intro intuitively, I thought this would be the first track. I wanted to sing describing realistic desires amid pounding piano rock. A sentiment like when I tackled this album, like synchronizing with the something that, though it wasn’t necessary to do anything expressly risky, couldn’t not do that.

Song info: Original by Sugar Babe. Sore demo Machi wa Mawatte-iru [And Yet The City Turns] opening theme.
Maaya’s liner notes: Nothing is different from the single, but when it becomes one song in the album my impression differed quite a bit. The whole album suddenly grew bright.
